Earthquake In Turkey
A vigorous natural disaster struck in Turkey, night, the strongest happening in Syria. An earthquake caused buildings to suddenly collapse and crumble. Few survived. One reason that not many have survived is probably because the disaster occured in nighttime, when people are sleeping. The earthquake, as high as 7.8, was very sudden. Candles
Candles have been here for a long time. A candle is (usually) a tall cylinder of wax with a small “string” at the top. Once the string is lighted, a small fire will appear, making a glow.
