Earthquake In Turkey

A vigorous natural disaster struck in Turkey, night, the strongest happening in Syria. An earthquake caused buildings to suddenly collapse and crumble. Few survived. One reason that not many have survived is probably because the disaster occured in nighttime, when people are sleeping. The earthquake, as high as 7.8, was very sudden. Rescue people had come to see how many people have died, and it’s about 2700. Many more have been injured. As well as an earthquake, there was also a snowfall, making people cold out in the open air. A survivor from the great earthquake says, “I was not quite worried when I first noticed the earthquake, I thought it was minor. But then it started shaking hard, and I ran out of the house. I took shelter in many locations.”. Additionally, countries sent Turkey their support, including rescue dogs, specialists, and first aid.
