Muscles do a big job in the human body: movement. Just imagine it: You don’t have any muscles. You would be thin as a skeleton, and straight as a ruler.

So what muscles do we have? Voluntary and involuntary muscles.
Voluntary
Voluntary muscles are muscles that you can control, like your leg or your arm. They don’t move automatically. You probably never had your arm or leg move without you wanting to first. Imagine if you kept on moving your arms to grab random things- like a telephone, pig, or someone’s ear!
Involuntary
Involuntary muscles are muscles that you can’t control, like the heart or lungs. Who ever had to tell their eyelids to blink? Well, you could blink on purpose, but when you don’t control it, you still blink.
