Environment
Platies should live in a big tank or bowl. Since these fish love to hide, a few big hiding spots in the tank, such as big rocks or fake algae, should be in. A few fellow fish is also good. Temperature should be around 20 degrees c.
Food
Buy some food from a local fish store. Feed one gigantic flake or one very tiny spoonful per day. Too less can cause stress, and too much is, well, too much. It’s okay if you are unable to feed them for a week.
Cleaning Tanks
Suck out the poop once every few days, and give a refresh on water every week. If a fish dies, take it out quickly so it won’t rot in the tank. If a baby one died, you may feed it to an adult.
Care for Pregnant Fish

Feed pregnant fish extra food. Isolate it. When babies are born, take the mother to her old tank. Leave babies there.
Baby Care
Feed crushed food. Give them an enormous tank. Rocks necessary.
