In this post, I will explain how to make antique-style paper.
First, brew 4 tablespoons of strong coffee. It may be decaf. If you would like a more fragile paper, increase the water content. If you would like a stiffer paper, decrease the water content.
Next, take two sheets of blank paper. I like to use A4.
Crumble both pages of paper into balls and smooth them. This is optional but highly reccommended.
With a pastry brush, brush both sides of the paper. Use about one tablespoon per side.
Now, lay into a sheet pan lined with parchment and bake at 200F for 3-5 minutes, depending on the ‘crispiness’ you want.
