Physical Changes
For example, you rip a piece of cardboard into bits. You changed the shape of the cardboard and made it into small chunks, but you did not change the stuff the cardboard was made from. So physical changes are changes that do not change the stuff it was made out of. Here is other examples: 1: You cut an apple into pieces of an apple; then you carve the chunks into all sorts of shapes.. 2: You poke holes in some tin foil with a toothpick and then you squeeze it into a silver ball. 3: You pick up a leaf from the ground and use it to wrap a berry.
Chemical Changes
Whoa! A chemical change is the opposite of a physical change! You also need to change the stuff it is made out of, like burning a log.
