Steps:
Tips: When folding, try to fold the paper multiple times in different directions (make the fold as flexible as possible), like in step 1. (Whereas the flexible folds will make it easier to complete step 6.)Try to fold neatly, because if you don’t, then the finished product will have some pages sticking out. Cutting exactly to the point would also be beneficial. You may decorate as desired, you do not need to do step 7, although it could make the result look better. Steps such as step 6 might cause some confusion, so you could unfold your creases and follow the steps detail by detail. You can also search on Youtube for “how to make a small paper book” and choose a video to follow, for example, the account “Simple and Easy Projects”.
- Fold the paper into quarters and make sharp creases with your nails. Do not unfold.
- Fold the paper again so that the original length becomes the width.
- Unfold the paper so that you see the quarter marks.
- Starting from the crease (the side without the layers), cut until the mid-point.
- Unfold so that the paper is divided into four quarters and that the width is half the length of the original sheet of paper.
- Hold the ends of the folded paper, and carefully “smash” them to the center of the paper, making a star. Then fold the sides so that one quarter makes the title page and the other makes the end of the book.
- Optional: Cut some tape and tape it to the creased part of the book, lengthwise so that half of it is shown and half of it is on the back. Colour and decorate as desired.
