Binary is a device-used format where there are only the numbers 0 and 1.

Binary Numbers

Binary numbers are a format of numbers used by computers and other tracking devices. They use these “numbers” and identify them. Binary numbers only contain 0 and 1, but nothing else.

Binary Number System | There are Many Ways to Write Numbers

We see that 0 is literally 0, and 1 is also 1. However, binary doesn’t have “2”, and 1 is the biggest among 0 and 1, so we need to find the smallest number from combinations of 0 and 1 that is greater than “1”. We see that 2 is 10 in binary, and furthermore 3 “is” 11. For example, “123” is “1 10 11” in binary form. Try to decode “1101”! Answer at end of blog.

Binary Alphabet

These numbers are pre-assigned, so mastering the binary alphabet only requires memory. For instance, “Hi” would be “01001000 01001001”. Try to decode “01010111 01000001 01001100 01010010 01010101 01010011”! Check your answer at the end of the blog.
