They use these &#8220;numbers&#8221; and identify them. Binary numbers only contain 0 and 1, but nothing else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/u.osu.edu\/storageofdata\/files\/2020\/10\/dec_bin_table.png\" alt=\"Binary Number System | There are Many Ways to Write Numbers\" style=\"width:268px;height:308px\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We see that 0 is literally 0, and 1 is also 1. However, binary doesn&#8217;t have &#8220;2&#8221;, and 1 is the biggest among 0 and 1, so we need to find the smallest number from combinations of 0 and 1 that is greater than &#8220;1&#8221;. We see that 2 is 10 in binary, and furthermore 3 &#8220;is&#8221; 11. For example, &#8220;123&#8221; is &#8220;1 10 11&#8221; in binary form. Try to decode &#8220;1101&#8221;!
