Maybe your dream was living in a super luxury resort complete with a swimming pool, soft bed, and a safe with jewelry. Or maybe it was to become the leader of the land. Or something else. But they all have something in common: At least a bit of luxury. We just seen to love luxury. It’s comfortable, clean, and has lots of “good” things with it. Meanwhile, others out there with little money or power live in non-luxury (simple/harsh) environments that are the exact opposite of luxury: no mansion, no gold, no private movie theatre or whatsoever. When non-luxury homes are mentioned, we probably think of inadequate food supply, hard beds with no cushioning, and slipping wood planks. But as you think, you’ll notice that everyday citizen homes are also non-luxury. Less than 10000000…(100 more zeros) kg of rubies, no crown, and no fancy banquets including 10-layer-cake.

Luxury and Non-Luxury
Luxury places, like the picture above, show that they have hosibiliy much, much beyond essential needs. In fact, essential needs are only a small shelter, meal, and clothing. We already have beyond the essentials- for example, we have gadgets including ipads, sports equipment, calculators… So don’t complain that you don’t have whatever you want. Luxury costs a lot of money, and it isn’t essential. But we still wish for good stuff. Why? This is because not a lot of us live with only essentials. Take your bed for example. Is the pillow too hot? Are you too cold? Is the bed to hot? Is the blanket itchy? That, if wishes granted, makes luxury. Non-luxury is worse than your average bed. It’s between the Dangerous condition and the I-Feel-Fine-With-It. Luxury is between the I’m-Satisfied and the Out-Of-The World condition.
